Description of Service
Distil is a platform for conducting, managing, and analyzing in-depth interviews. The Service provides tools for interview script creation, real-time interview hosting, transcript analysis, and synthesis generation.
User Accounts
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
User Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including interview transcripts and recordings. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and consents to upload and process interview content, including consent from interview participants.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Upload content that violates others' rights
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Distil and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
